Title: Barcelona
Post by: Rowley Birkin QC on February 16, 2015, 13:01:17
Just been un-nerving myself watching a replay of our future Champions League opponents demolishing Levante 5-0 in La Liga.

OK - Levante are a bit crap, but the quality of Barcelona's delivery into the box is enough to give anyone the jitters - especially when you think about how we've been defending recently!

Barcelona   5    Levante    0
Athletic       2    Barcelona 5
Barcelona   3    Villarreal   2
Elche          0    Barcelona 6
Deportivo   0    Barcelona 4
Barcelona   3    At. Madrid  1

with Neymar, Suarez and Messi all on form nothing to worry out defence!!!

I should think Pellegrini knows Barcelona well enough, better than a lot of managers. It's scary for us though

Ah, see!
Former Barcelona star David Villa believes that Manchester City manager Manuel Pellegrini knows the Catalan giants well enough to be able to beat them in the Champions League last-16 (via the MEN).
