Team to start
Hart, Sagna, Otamendi, Mangala, Clichy, Fernando, Fernandinho, Navas, De Bruyne, Silva, Aguero.
Subs:
Caballero, Zabaleta, Kolarov, Delph, Toure, Iheanacho, Bony
Come on City
Apart from the first two minutes, we're playing like the away team, which I'm a bit concerned about. I know we are ahead on away goals, but feel we should have a bit more urgency about us. Dropping too deep, letting them enjoy the ball too much.

what a complete tool
Kun down :-[
If he goes off it has to be the Nacho man on in his place, surely.
I dont like saying it but we're playing quite well..
Yeah, we are actually. I got a bit worried when they had the ball for ages, but we're looking good. Should be at least one up.
I am pleased
Apart from the pen! We don't seem to be getting anything off the ref though!
Also cracking freekick (Ibra) and save (Hart)

I kept the phones off!
weird how he's anti city as he wore the shirt for a bit....silly twot
Why can we not pass and retain possession they are just average PSG.
We need to sit back now - there's no pressure on us and its times like this we fuck up.

YEEEEEEEES. FUCKING YES.
Get in, played a lot better today.
my motm is Hart, some great and vital saves
Didn't think KDB had a good match but a cracking finish!

Any other British team and the commentary lick their ring piece clean but every comment in regards to city was a negative one.
Arse holes

Cracking team performance i was impressed with our use of the ball and willingness to get forward - good balance, i was just a bit worried we might over commit

'Drivel' that is just your intolerant view and attempt to fling abuse at me. Makes me laugh hard that you cannot tolerate people with views on our team that do not comply with your own views. Pretty intolerant and pathetic and abusive.
A great night for the team I have supported for over 50 years but so many bad habits have become ingrained in this teams DNA.
Bad habits tend to catch up and bite you eventually, but who cares now we are bigger and better than our bitter rivals after all these years.
I don't think we have played anywhere near our best but we are through to the semis. I really hope Sergio and Silva proper turn up for the semi. I thought PSG were very disappointing, I reckon their trouble is they don't have any competition every week. We need to start getting our football together again. But it is great to be so far through and know we have another couple of gears we can hopefully find.
Have to be happy to be through. A great night for the club. Envy of the country. Two rounds with no English representation except City.
Now anything could happen as this team on its day can fire and beat anyone.
Best parts of tonights performance was the togetherness of the team, attitude, work rate and patience when it got tough.

Quite right back not important. Strangely when the typed that that I did think i bet Goat miracously will may make a sudden appearance.
so for once you were right
In fairness if PSG had played ibrahimovich tonight it might have been a different result. 😉
on about that
are paris the most expensive one man team in the world?

Remember the red rag taunts.
Not a great game unless you were committed to us or PSG. The result was the main thing.
Who called mangled and otter, not me for sure.
Navas, for all his faults filled in at full back when needed. Clichy had no such cover and that was an achilles heel we need to fix.
Silva and Kun look shadows of their true selves, for months now, not just against PSG.
Make it past the semi finals playing like that, not a chance.

well i think im perfectly sane and not pathetic..im not the one who says sack the manager and we are shit and then we are amazing in the next post and that tixki and co are bobbins and then their amazing...you need help fella...
Again that is your opinion. I do not have a great respect your opinion so I will happily ignore it. It is regertable that you seem unable to express your opinion other than through personal abuse. Perhaps you should reflect more on that and less on what you perceive as my faults.
Even if we win the CL, which I really hope we do, that does not change my opinion that Pelle is not the best manager for City and our performances as a team have been sub-standard this season as a whole. I have been consistent in saying get rid of him but only at season end. Playing well on a few occassions or getting a big result now and again does not compensate for persistent failings and sub-standard perfomances; though it often can help mask them. Pelle has deteriorated this team in many ways, and that is firmly my opinion, even though he is a gentleman and very personable in many ways.
personal abuse my arse..if i called you a wanker that would be personal abuse... all i have said is you write drivel..what a drama queen!!
Do I really need to point out the irony here? :coat:
My views are way harsher than zabbas but in general I very much agree, well spoken, something I never could or will.
That's because no one can understand a bloody word you say.
(That last sentence being a case in point!)

Sorry, I must have misunderstood that. I did not realise that remark was somehow football related. Somehow I thought it was directed at me.
As regards my original big crime, stating the obvious "Why can we not pass and retain possession they are just average PSG." A remark made during the game about a 5 minute spell in the game shortly after half time. I had not expected a football comment on a football forum could cause such offence to an administrator of a football forum "is there any way i dont have to read your drivel?" The latter I am pretty sure is a personal comment and not football related.
Think again Lee.
Lets wrap this up now eh.
Ban Lee for his own sake. Ban me for a week while you're at it as well.

That is fan dabby dosey
City fans need to troll BT sport's social media en-mass
On the bright side, it is nice to see them squirm when City win. I don't really watch the buildup anyway and switch off directly after defeats. I wouldn't really want the sickly sweet coverage that Liverpool get. We have our problems and we should face them but still be proud that we are the only English team still in the main competition. A lot of the spite is increasingly plain jealousy. I rather enjoy their jealousy.
Yeah, well, I suppose I shouldn't let it get to me, but it does. Never watch the pre- or post-match analysis, and quite often watch the action with the sound muted. Although that doesn't work so well with the radio, I've found. Didn't there used to be a channel where you could watch matches with just ambient stadium sound? That'd work for me.
They used to have different audio channels on Sky where you could choose just to have the stadium sound. I'd often use it too. Like you, I watch with the sound down when it does start annoying me but just occasionally you do miss something that they mention that is happening off camera like a player warming up or a goal being disallowed.
it's no different here in the USA, same shit and same comments. What pissed me off was the coverage of CL. For the past 2 years I have watched City on FS1 for CL games while this year they covered Rag Bastard games and put City games on the back bench until the Rags got put out of Europe. The media are a set of Arseholes!
The Sky Sports commentator on the rags v Villa game has just said -
"...but that isn't the Manchester Utd way. They've always played attractive, attacking football. Even when they were relegated they played attractive football."
Seriously - you can't make this stuff up. I'm still laughing! :D
I'm watching the UK commentary on the rag/villa game and they're only talking about how good utd are like Villa don't exist unless they feck up.

But this is also indicative of the road towards invitation-only participation in European competition and a domestic Premier League with no relegation from it nor promotion to it. UEFA will need to protect the assets they have for sale, and the TV companies likewise their advertising income stream, for the circus to continue. You may think City have done enough now to "qualify", but if it happened and there were just one franchise available for Manchester, who do you think would get that? Neo-liberal economic models aren't meritocratic. That's why this kind of casual insidious propaganda needs to be challenged.

Sky used to do similar where they would have fan commentary, none or standard.
