I just tuned in to tonights match to see him subbed at half time. I take it he was exactly great first half then. Dave hasn't been inspirational either. Looks like Spain to go out with a whimper.
Anonymous in the first half, couldnt get a kick playing a good team, nowhere. He was superb against poor opposition (Turkey). Flat track bully.

Perhaps I'm being a bit harsh but I've only ever seen him in this years Euro's and he didn't stand out.
Well at least he was playing in the Euros for a half decent national side - so he must have something.
