I saw on Twitter yesterday that Ian Darke was busy denying bias in football commentators/ pundits. Needless to say his timeline rapidly filled up with hundreds of exasperated responses - mostly from Blues - pouring scorn on that idea.

Darke did defend his corner for a while, claiming all fans perceive bias to some degree when it isn't really there - but then some City fans asked him to specifically comment on his regular habit of reeling off City players' transfer fees when covering City games and why he never does this for Liverpool or rag players - at which point he went strangely silent...
