Marking the goalie

I'm trying to recall but nowadays find it hard to recall what I ate for brekkie but I'm sure marking goalies during set pieces/corners didn't happen? Notice it was going on in Cheaski v 'pool game today & couple of times in games yesterday. A player now blocks the view or actually is stopping him coming out to get the ball,is it a new tactic?

bit pointless really seeing as if you even look at the keeper its a freekick these days, unless its joe hart, the gift that keeps on giving

They normally stick the smallest guy on the pitch on the keeper
