It's normally the results against the top 6 teams that dictate the league winners. We were awful last season in that respect. Looking a lot better this season though with wins vs Liverpool and Chelsea.

Yet to play Newcastle but we've played B'mouth twice. Maximum 6pts.

Only dropped 2 points so far against Everton after walker was harshly sent off.

BBC have only given us 9\10 for the first half, damn Everton!

Have to admit I don't understand what purpose this thread serves (but that's no doubt my fault rather than Swiss' - and Gavin seems to be well into into it)

However, the one thing I have taken away from this is that we drew a staggering 18 games under Horton in 1993/94

I think the point was to see how far we progress this season over last. But as it happens it is bloody obvious that we've been much better. Next season I think we can only hope to be slightly worse so far if anything!
