Title: Costa Bomb
Post by: KunDB on January 13, 2017, 21:57:25
Well not exactly a bomb £30m per year we are led to believe from a club in China.

Costa now effectively on strike for a move for 'big money'. Anyone else old enought to remember the days Chelsea rolled up with their tanks outside stadiums firing money at clubs and players to get player signed. What goes around comes around.

"Diego Costa has been dropped from the Chelsea squad for Saturday’s Premier League match at Leicester City over a row that involves a massive offer made to him from a club in the Chinese Super League."

Article Guardian  (https://www.theguardian.com/football/2017/jan/13/diego-costa-dropped-chelsea-row-china)

A few fantasy premier league teams will be subject to striker transfers tonight?

Be prepared for it to be Sergio in the very near future.

Sergio seems happy enough to stay at City then go back to Argentina for a few years. How much money is enough? Surely Costa it's on more than enough to set himself and his family up for life at Chelsea!

Who needs Costa in your team when you have Sergio and Defoe?  ;)

Happy's one thing but if someone dangles half a million a week in front of you.....

He has had a while in Argentina again. I'm quite confident that Sergio doesn't have the 'personality' of Costa.

Boca Juniors reportedly got £70 million for Tevez. That must secure their financial future for years to come and Carlito pockets £615,000 a week. Decent food as well.

No doubt its £100 million for Costa. Chelsea dont need it, but it cant but help with FFP. Chelsea buy in a younger and possibly half price replacement.

Can't help thinking there's something dodgy going on between China and Chelsea

I see Yaya has turned down China for now. Bet Dmitri is pleased he's not getting the commission on that yet.

We're going to need a few barnstorming runs before the end of the season. But he's worth keeping just to stop Sergio from taking pens.

"Yaya Toure turns down huge Chinese offer and hopes for new Man City deal"

As Gavin has said, no doubt Dmitri will be choking on his cake.
