Man City: Ederson; Walker, Dias, Laporte; Rodri, De Bruyne, Gundogan; Bernardo, Mahrez, Grealish; Haaland
Subs: Ortega Moreno, Phillips, Ake, Alvarez, Gomez, Akanji, Foden, Palmer, Lewis
Aston Villa: Martinez; Young, Konsa, Chambers, Digne; Ramsey, Kamara, Luiz, Buendia; Watkins, Bailey
I like the changes in defence. Very attacking set up.
Strong team
C/ Mon Cityyyy
Some attacking team that.
Come on City
come on city. big performance required.
Never a foul, that.
Great start and looking determined.
The ref played right into Martinez's hands for that coming together then!!
Best half for ages. Can they charge us every week?
Thats more like it.
Loving this..More 2nd half please.
That's the response all us fans wanted to see.
Should be 4 no reason at all to disallow the Gundogan goal, useless refereeing. The booking of Dias equally ridiculous, remember how Utd surrounded the referee repeatedly and no bookings, also Everton.
Playing with real purpose.
Unless Dias called him a cnut i have no idea why he got a yellow
Haaland is our striker and chasing goal records. He should be the set penalty taker not anyone else.

I'm sure the next time a load of the bindippers surround the ref then the ref will dish out a load of yellow cards.
Ha... Ha..... Ha....
Good management taking off Dias and Haaland, with Arsenal coming up mid week.
SSN saying Haaland off due to injury.
The bet is still on, I'm normally fucked off before half time.
Conceding a goal annoyingly still annoys me.
Let's take the three points and move on to beat Arsenal and move top of the PL.
Played decent, hope Haaland is back for Wednesday. KDB looked good. Foden looked realy rusty when he came on. Mahrez, either on fire or MIA. He shouldnt be taking penalties, missing 25% of them.
Back to being insipid in the second half. Disappointing. We need to play every minute.
No way should Mahrez take penalties when Erling is on the pitch.
I was hoarse after booing the anthem. I've not got the throat I used to.
I think it was the injury to Erling that meant he wasn't taking the penalty.
He let Mahrez take it apparently. But pleased to hear from Pep that he expects Erling to be number 1 taker. Pep also said that we were better second half. Final confirmation that I know nothing about football as I thought we were far, far better first half.
More like the old City , attacking display which will worry Arsenal
So pleased to see Dias back in there. If we play above 80% our potential, Arsenal won't be able to live with us.

I know significantly less than you Gavin and infinitely less than Pep, but I can say with almost certainty that the first half was massively superior play to the second half.
