About as expected. Plenty of firepower on the bench. Nice to see Hamilton on the bench too.

City's side looks much stronger than Newcastle's. I'm much more confident than I was.

Their best players might be Storm Agnes!

Would be nice to see another young academy player get minutes, Micah Hamilton.

We're just not showing enough creativity. Jack needs to step up and produce. He is a senior player here tonight. Bobb and Lewis are looking good.

Newcastle came out to foul their way into the game second half and it worked perfectly thanks to yet more woeful reffing. No wonder Pep was booked again. After failing to give an obvious yellow card to a Newcastle player, the ref went on to immediately book two City players for less.

Phillips was shite, gave the ball away far too much. Jack was shite, did not do nearly enough to break Newcastle down.

Yes Phillips blew it and Jack just does not do enough. Poor performance overall by the team. No bite.
