getting fed up with so called taking one for the team (whoever does this) so the game ends up a series of stop start.
Watched second half of Watford v Palace and after Palace had scored they constantly fouled players to prevent the attack.
Noticed similar from Spurs v City t'otherday.
It seems to be getting more prevalent as a tactic >:(
It's certainly not good from a sporting point of view but it's definitely something I wish we could do more.
1-0 up against Juve, West Ham and Spurs we maybe could have been a bit more savvy rather than gung-ho.
Spurs were really bad and the ref just let them get away with it as usual. I thought they were well over the line and I wouldn't like to see City doing the same.
Actually Fernandinho tends to do it and gets booked each time.
As you say though don't want it at City !!!
