Nervy start by both team. It was definitely a penalty but a poor effort from Kun.

Definitely a pen that mate, he was wafting his arms all over the show! The ref had been pretty inconsistent for both sides so far to be fair.
I think it was soft. None of our players even called for it, it was that soft.

It was the sort of penalty that's given these days. Ask PSG and Otamendi. Tonight's was actually the most of a penalty to me as he had his hand up.
Poor first half though. Hope for much better second half.

Well I suppose we had started to dominate just before the goal, and perhaps Pep thought we'd just carry on where we had left off - so no subs yet.
But the goal seemed to take something out of us. We looked a touch tired and sluggish after that. I thought the subs should have been sooner than 3 minutes to go!

Without question Pep left the subs too late, an extra 20 mins for Kev and Sane would not have made any difference if Pep is trying to keep them rested.
That's not true though is it. Kev especially is a little fragile at the moment.
The approach wasn't positive enough from the start but he left it far too long for KDB and Leroy to come on. Fucking frustrating. We'll have to be at it next week.

I'm not suggesting he would break down, I'm suggesting he might be on the end of a harsh or accidental tackle that injured him (like Kane). I'd rather be going into the second leg and the remainder of the season with him intact.
