Title: Silva lining?
Post by: clevblue on November 12, 2014, 17:40:38
David Silva will hand his struggling Manchester City team-mates a huge boost by returning to action after the international break.

The Spain midfielder sustained a knee injury in the Capital One Cup loss to Newcastle United and has missed the last three games.
But the City playmaker is now off crutches and has been given the green light to resume light training this week.
Silva has been one of this season's few bright spots for boss Manuel Pellegrini, who is hopeful his man will now be able to return for the must-win Champions League clash against Bayern Munich on November 25 at the Etihad.

Got to be good news. I'm more bothered about the PL than Bayern though

A welcome boost but we weren't playing that well with him in the team. Our problems are a lot bigger than one man at the moment. The likes of Navas and Nasri should be creating chances and at the other end our defence is poor and distribution is suicidal at times.

That sums it up, it is not about individual players and their form, it is about the team, work ethic and attitude.
