Fact is this team and these players have failed every key test so far this season. No reason for that to change now.
I think saying they've failed every key test this season is a bit harsh.
We're 4th in the league with 2 games in hand over 3rd place.
We went out of Europe on away goals to an extremely good and free scoring Monaco side that would have (and will) give anyone a tough game.
We've just been put out in the semifinals of the FA cup where a couple of key decisions went against us.
It's not ideal but it's hardly wrist slitting time just yet.

So we agree a failed season. Given our investment in the squad and manager Khaldoon and Co. will consider this blank season a failure and analysis will show that when the chips were down our players let us down.
As a team we lack a winning mentality.
Yes, this season is a big failure. Still don't want to change manager though. Even if we lose to the rags and don't finish top four I'd give him another season at least.
