Has to be seen as a good £12 million back in the coffers. He was worthless to us. It'll be interesting to see what he does back there, my money would be on not very much.

26 goals in 54 games at Swansea first time round, putting him 6th on their all-time goal scorer list. If only he'd stayed he's already be a legend!

him going to swansea was better than us signing nobody yesterday

It's a bloody shame he didn't work out- always seemed to score against us too.

Big powerful and what was for them, a crack shot...

But he was used to playing off the shoulder of the last defender as Swansea looked to counter from deep. Totally not how we played.

I remember Mpenza scoring a last minute winner against Liverpool on a rainy fookin freezing day at the Etihad.

The wife was bored to death, verging on hypothermia and has since refused to come to any football matches  :D

Mackan was at City square, interviewed before the Everton game. He actually still seemed to have a soft spot for the club!

Either your wrong or Wiki is,  he scored 5 goals in 25 appearances (one was a pre-season goal at Doncaster)
Not what you'd call prolific  :D
He left us for Plymouth where he played only 9 times.

Has a son called Lenny..
and was sueing his ex boss at Plymouth Paul Sturrock for claiming (in his book) Mpenza couldnt train due to taking viagra the previous day, still had an erection apparently..
Dont know how that went.
