I feel like you need a set of criteria, otherwise you're just asking for people's fave female vocalists.
Best female singer is prob Whitney, but she's not my fave.
Arianna Grande has an amazing vocal range, but she does turd songs.
My fave female rock groups are Haim and No doubt.
Love a bit of Joni Mitchell or Mazzy star for that Folk genre.
