Well Done City, Sterling has verbally agreed new terms which will take his 5 year contract up to 2023.

"Raheem Sterling has verbally agreed a new contract with Manchester City, bringing speculation regarding his long-term future at the club to an end.
Sterling is set to sign significantly improved terms at the Etihad, making him one of the club’s best-paid players, after months of negotiations.

The 23-year-old’s current contract is due to expire in the summer of 2020 and allowing the terms to run into their final year would have risked losing Sterling at a knockdown price.

Sterling is, however, now expected to secure a new five-year deal, extending his stay in Manchester until 2023."

It will be great news when it's on paper not air.

I doubt these modern day contracts are one sheet of A4 so the legal eagles of both parties will have to go through it painstakingly to ensure it's all as agreed before signing.

Signed till 2023, pen to paper. Can drop him now and get Sane in.

Swiss

He's soon to turn 24 and starting to come into the best years of his career and he is showing how good a talent he can be.

I see Pep has told him off for his piss taking step overs at the end today. Don't listen Raheem, more please  :D.

Sane over Sterling would be a ridiculous choice, Sterling has proven of what he is capable of and he is definitely
a big game player, he is still 23 and is on fire this season.Sane is also a brilliant player but he lacks the experience of replacing Sterling in important premier league games.

Sane v Sterling overall is a tricky one. Think Sane is better on the left though. Sterling should be on the right. They'd both be in my starting XI.

Sterling is the most improved player in the team. Liked the moment that he boosted Sane's confidence against Southampton by setting him up for the goal. Could have scored it himself but he deferred....

Agree, but it was a tongue in cheek comment...
