Kompany back and starting. Fernandinho getting a well deserved rest albeit on bench.
City XI | Hart, Zabaleta, Mangala, Kompany (C), Kolarov, Fernando, Delph, Toure, Navas, De Bruyne, Aguero
Subs | Caballero, Iheanacho, Bony, Fernandinho, Sterling, Otamendi, Demichelis
Come on City lets keep up the searing hot form of the weekend.
Good, strong team. Should be able to do the business. Come on City.
looking good
100 Agueroooooooooooooooooooooooooo
sod the offside
Eased off a bit, then shoddy defence and a one in a hundred shot.
Too sloppy, need to tighten up, 1 all first half poor show otherwise
We have went back to old habits, playing at 75% and no urgency. A shame really as we should be winning this game with ease.
I think we've seen the jekyll & hide of city in that first half!
2 changes please_
take off delph and fernando
bring on fern and sterling
weird and hate to say this but missed nasri !!
Wake up before too late Pelle subs needed.
Last roll of the dice by Pelle. Throw on Bony (called throwing in the white flag).
bony for navas or swapping one kind of shit for another

I feel a bit sorry for delph when we keep playing him on the left wing!
Am i allowed to say I'm embarrassed again? 8)
No worries we are clinging on desperately for a point.
Back to garbage.
Appalling. Such a goddamn waste again, welcome back city. For a slight moment I thought we lost you. And the battle for top 4 fucking continues, baffling.
I never wanna hear or read anything about pellers after this season.
Terrible match for us, absolutely shocking apart from the first 5 mins and some really good movement in the first half.
We scored an offside goal and drew 1-1, i feel we robbed Toon there.
But oh well, c'est la vie 8)
Low workrate
Low desire
A point is better than none, but Newcastle are poor.
We are just too inconsistent and Pelle accepts it in the main.
What really has turned me off Pelle as our manager is his continued insistence to play Bony and ignore Kelechi.
Christ, that was hard to watch.
A complete lack of energy and out ran by a team scrapping for everything. Play like that against Madrid and we'll get our arses handed to us.
we were shite but we have to give newcastle some credit..they worked their bollocks off so fair play to them..the spanish waiter has them well set up
only good thing was not having to get up at stupid o'clock to watch this tripe!
Oh dear... a very sloppy City performance. Just how many different ways can we find to give the ball away? Credit to Newcastle for their pressure and hard work.
Kompany looked very rusty and definitely not one of Kolarov's better games for us.
None of the tempo of the Chelsea game and I thought the substitutions added nothing. A few, like Zabaleta, were giving it a good go, but not enough were.
Mangala looked more concerned having to cover for Kompany whereas Otamendi & he now have a good system together.
Not sure what Delph was up to either, all looked very ordinary (except KDB & Aguero) did wonder if like me they had jet lag after travelling up so far?! ;)
The trouble with this non trying save ourselves for Real Madrid approach is we risk losing out to CL football next year and letting our near rivals 'The Rags' pip us.
It also has meant we have to turn up and win this weeknd (prior to RM 1st leg) and beating Arsenal in the game after RM 2nd leg becomes an absolute must win game. A high risk gamble.

Yep, fair do's, Toon played their bollocks off.
Kolarov gave a nice deliver for Kuns goal, should be a left winger rather than a LB

As we've discussed before.
I like Kolarov but he ably demonstrated yesterday why people are less than convinced by his defending skills.
