Yeh, I've not seen a problem at a match for ages. But she is right about idiots on social media like Barton and people who abuse anonymity to abuse people including her. I'm sure that she has been on the end of some horrible abuse sadly. But I agree with you that a football match is generally safe for women to attend if they don't mind a bit of swearing.

I have had sexiest, mysoginist, and racist comments in the past directed at me , but those comments was more said in jest. However, it is not all time. More important, I feel safe going to games. This woman has a chip on her shoulder and needs to suck it up: it's called life!
