I laughed at some his interviews in loaded all those years ago, they should legalise all drugs really.

He gets the full treatment with an obit (http://www.theguardian.com/books/2016/apr/11/howard-marks-obituary) in today's Guardian. "Dennis Howard Marks, drugs smuggler and author, born 13 August 1945; died 10 April 2016."
