I'm with Gavin, what on earth brain power was employed that came up with multi failure Wayne Rooney as a good idea to appoint.

Football is a big pile of millions being shared around the same group of recipients. Failure just means more money and more opportunity for new money.

No offence to WR but he has never looked like a likely manager of any level.
