No real surprise, no finesse to his brand of football.
I reckon it is not winning games that cost him. He's a decent guy, great player, not much of a manager in the long term but he does seem to be able to get teams going in the short term.
My missus is a Forest fan so I've heard non stop about it. I always felt that Pearce had a Plan A but once it went tits up he had no Plan B, C, D etc. Same when he was at City. But the fact they replaced him very quickly with Dougie Freedman is laughable. He had a decent 6 months at Palace and look what he did to Notlob.
Well... I like Pearce (less and less called Psycho these days!) but as a manager we failed miserably. The Engand U21's were poor and Forrest... gone backwards. Top bloke, maybe should be a coach.
