To be fair, Greg Dyke is the one that said it, Southgate was forced to answer questions on it cause most of his players will be the focus of that world cup.

Southgate also made me laugh when he said there wasn't much between the 8 teams at the Euro U-21s finals.

Well, apart from England's defending of set-pieces which would have shamed a pub team - and their inability to score more than 2 goals in 3 games.
