Not often I say this about a Utd player but good on him. Sounds like he had a tough upbringing and he’s getting some real support for disadvantaged kids to continue to get free school meals during school holidays. He’s got Boris to back track on his original comments and that’s no mean feat.
Hard to believe in this day and age that there are families in this country who rely so heavily on school meals and food banks. It’s a sad reflection on our country.

Sad society that needs a high profile footballer to point out children should not be starving while the rich get richer on the backs of their poorly paid working class parents.
It is a sad day for humanity when I have to have far more respect for a rag footballer than the leaders of the free world.
