VAR and the EPL shite referees strike again.
The refereeing of games in slow motion is making things worse. They don't seem to realise how much it changes the impact of incidents from being momentary accidents to appearing deliberate.
I really feel Slo Mo should only be used exceptionally but that said I did think the Slo Mo tonight showed intent to follow through. Leg was lifted as it was falling down to make contact on the follow through.
I was more concerned with the disallowed Newcastle goal v Liverpool for an unavoidable hand ball that in a few months will be not disallowed. What a contradictory mess they get themselves in.
Sometimes I wonder is there anyone in VAR
Rules are rules. Diaz could have seen red if it hadn't been for a good bit of refereeing.....
