...how many do think Pep will want to keep.
Hart, Sterling, Fernandinho, Iheanacho and Nasri probably.
Otamendi possibly.
Bony, Delph, Mangala, Kolarov are shit so probably not, Zabaleta looks increasingly leggy and maybe another one to go?
So unless Pep is a miracle worker I'd expect a fairly big clear out.
Hart maybe, Sterling 50/50 call (can he grow up and develop), Fernandinho definitely, Iheanacho absolutely, Nasri no (too many hot and cold swings)
Bony lol not even a footballer, Otamendi probably but not first choice, Delph yes English, Managal, No you never know what you are about to get with him (todays total miss on balla cross goal line), Kolorov no, Zabba a fans hero and honest as the day is long so yes keep.
I expect a massive clear out over the next two years, it will be put it in and shine or hop it. Which is the right way.
Nasri will stay until Pep susses out that he only has 2 or 3 good games a season and is generally shit or injured the rest of the time.
I think Nasri has it in him to be a good player, I only hope Pep can get it out of him.
after today id fuck everyone off, even the ones that didnt play
pretty obvious the ones that will go, throw in yaya too. pep probably already has them noted already anyway
more interesting, how many has pep already lined up to replace the shite

.
thats the kind of shit we can do without, its like saying yaya scored a goal three years ago so keep him
if they want to do something to keep a hero happy give him a job as coach setting up the cones or some shit
Yes, unfortunately there's no room for sentiment.
Zabaleta's been a model professional and as has been pointed out a fans favourite but his legs are done and I can't imagine he'll be here next year.

hahah
Whilst I agree on the sentiment, you know what you'll get with Zab and that's a player who will run himself into the ground for the team. He's had a few injuries this season so maybe we're not seeing a fully fit player, with an off seasons rest we might see him come back fit and raring to go again.
For the RB slot, I think we're more likely to see Sagna depart at age 33, turning 34 in Feb 17. Zab is 2 years younger.
Evolution is needed, one young(er), one old. I'd like to see a 26(ish) year old bought in. Someone that is ready to challenge for the first team and be around for a few good seasons. Then ease the older player out of the team, bringing in (hopefully) a club trained player.
I'd like to see Angelino & Maffeo go out on loan to two decent sides next season unless they're ready to step up.
Who should stay from the current crop...

10 players to come in. That's a big overhaul and could take a wee while to settle in.
Keeper is a free space to get in a HG player though.
Nearly completely agree with Swiss, except for Nasri. Sure there might be a good player in there, but really, he cant be arsed.
I still can't understand how anyone would want to keep Kolarov.

I second that motion. He should have gone a while ago.
Nasri might do well if we play him in the right position.
Might be worth another season, but if not we've got a player on our hands that other teams might not want to pick up.
I'm either way with him. I'd also be happy with promoting that Diaz to his place! Though he is only 16, get him playing with the men and we could see him flourish.
With Kolarov; I am not a fan of Clichy. I think he's an average defender and very weak in attack so out of the two I'd sell clichy, keep kolarov but buy a new LB ready to conquer that place. This keeps us from having too many new players not integrated into the team. Now, if Angelino is ready then I'd be happy for him to take kolarovs place too and get rid of both lb's. But I think this player overhaul is a two window or a two season job.
I've gone into bat for Kolarov on many occasions, but I must admit his last few appearances have started to try my patience.
I don't rate him as a defender. As Swiss said we still need a top notch left back (Clichy isn't enough on his own), but I still think Kolarov has a role to play in the squad as a useful make-shift left winger. And after Yaya he is our best free kick specialist (although De Bruyne is now challenging that status).

We all know what Zabba can and usually does give, 100% industry, a shining example of what Pep demands. So I would keep him especially as he has been inexplicably messed about by Pelle this season.
Not sentiment just good common sense.
Hope PSG or Monaco or anyone will take Nasri.
Like Kolarov, Zabba can play in another position if needed, DM. Have his legs gone? Hardly played this season and is surely not at 100%.

Yep, He's no where near a top defender, or an average defender... However, under pep I think we'll see a shift in keeping the ball a lot more. If we've got the ball then we don't need to defend, we attack. If we're attacking then Clichy is of zero use to us. Kolarov however can take a free kick, can shoot (ok no striker... but offers a long range option) and can put in a decent cross more often than Navas.
But for games we need to defend (and attack) then the 'new' player should start.
Although if this kid is ready...
