First half was a game of two quarters, first City then RM. We got a glimpse of how dynamic City were going to be this season, more pace to go with the passing and a superb passing confident Ederson in goal.
Second half it rained goals for us, so lets hope that augurs well for the season ahead.
End of the day it was a friendly and all about fitness and fine tuning,. but a great confidence booster nonetheless.
I would add that in 60 years supporting City I have never seen this degree of quality all across the team, and that includes the academy lads.

Useful workout for pre-season and some encouraging performances. Danilo looked ok on the left, Ederson seems a good shot stopper and Kdb was back to somewhere near his 15/16 best. Quality finish from Brahim Diaz too.

A very pleasing result even in a friendly. From the highlights on the OS we look to have played some very good and effective football in both halves which is promising considering we clearly made a number of subs. Also nice to see that one of the stars was one of the young kids again. What a goal Madrid scored too.
