Title: Dzeko

Looks like Dzeko is off to Roma. Reports coming in that he's agreed terms

Good luck to him if it happens.

I wonder if that paves the way for a De Bruyne bid...

I imagine there'd be a bid in any case.

farewell dzeko..a frustrating player to watch

Nope, but we need the squad space...

With Jovetic and Dzeko gone that's down to 15 out of 17 non-HG.

De Bruyne and Pogba?

Read today that the Pogba deal has been held up over the image rights for the player.

Anyway, thanks for the highs Dzeko, some good times. But it is time for you to be Edin out the door  8)

He hated the super sub title and i fear that would have been his position this season so its thanks and bye Edin.

Legend. Sad to see him go but it was probably time. Frustrating but also a unappreciated player.

I was never convinced by him, though he did have some great moments for City. Felt he should have been gone a long time before now.

Went on strike last season refusing to play when brought on, so no respectful farewell will I give him.

Bye Dzeko

Not entirely sure about the wisdom of this. So - are Aguero and Bony going to be enough?

Do we now need another striker, or does this mean one of the youngsters (Kelechi?) is finally going to be eased in? Or perhaps the powers that be think more of our goals will come from midfield this season via Sterling?

Certainly sold too cheaply if the stated 14 million fee is accurate.

I am expecting one established striker to come in, plus Kelechi.

If we are going to play with one up front then we probably wont get another striker, its a big if.

A player who needed to play every game. The only thing he could do was score goals, but thats no bad thing. Lets remember the equaliser against QPR.

Lots of goals to remember. He was a key part of two title wins but, yes, he could also be very frustrating at times. We need another striker, an injury or two would see us short and our strikers are prone.

Good luck to Edin.

Problem was that he can't actually play football

Could be going a bit far that Swiss

Wolfsburg

    Bundesliga: 2008â€"09

Manchester City

    Premier League: 2011â€"12, 2013â€"14
    FA Cup: 2010â€"11
    Football League Cup: 2013â€"14
    FA Community Shield: 2012

Not bad for someone that can't actually play football  :o

The game he scored 4 at Spurs he shown he only needed/wanted one touch and it would be a goal.........He was like Goater not a footballer a goal scorer i will miss him but agree if were not going to play to his strength's he should leave.

Not doing a great job of ridding ourselves of those surplus to requirement are we.

I guess it's hard to drive a high price when you want shot of a player who doesn't play much and everyone knows it.

What we want is a nuveu riche club who wants to grow fast and spends like brewster!

Unfortunately PSG spunk their cash on Chelsea and rags players eh.

Watched Edin's five top goals on the OS before. Top man.

I like Bony but is he really worth 20 million more than Dzeko ? Dzeko is a 20 goal a season man if you play him

we shoulda kept him, he gave us another option

Not the best deal money wise but we've had 5 decent seasons from him and it's better all round if he goes.

Quick update for anyone still missing Edin and who clearly has a broken memory.

Last 17 games, only one goal from open play (3 goals total in last 17 games).

Sounds familiar.

What's left of them. Most of them are on strike I think!

Went to watch Ajax on Saturday, bloody awful.
