No matter how much people whinge about Clarkson and his buddies, they made that show what it was.....a worldwide phenomenon

Trying to follow them with new presenters was a massive mistake, wtf were they thinking?

Just come up with a different show instead of trying to re-create the old one, there must be some very dim bastards at the BBC

I think the fact that Clarkson was a massive twot with racist undertones and a violent streak made it impossible for the BBC to keep him. Add to that his two acolytes not wanting to continue without him made it necessary for a wholly new line up.

Any attempt to create a new show, which would still be primarily about cars, would always bring comparisons to Top Gear anyway so it wouldn't really have been worthwhile.
