is Stones injured ?

Stephen Paul

slightly concerned about the 1 nil
18 attempts first half

Stones must be injured again. It should be more. We are being incredibly profligate.

Almost a perfect game. 5 goals. A 4 goal win and now a better goal difference than Liverpool (until they play).

Pressure on Arsenal & Liverpool, that's all we can do.

Doku really good today, Nunes not so good. KdB always good.

C'mon City keep on winning and keep the pressure on our opponents.

A great win in the end but our profligacy concerns me. We need to take our chance in the big games or we are fooked. Big Erl needs to up his game a bit.

Doku was much improved today. Some excellent crosses, runs and a decent finish - albeit after some more wild efforts. A great finish from Kova and his buddy Gvardiol is beginning to look a lot better too, mainly with the ball but his finishing is a big bonus indeed.

Nunes wasn't great. He had a decent effort slide away off the post in the first half but otherwise gave away the goal for Luton, muffed a big opportunity and was otherwise anonymous.

It was nice to have a more relaxing game towards the end. There are many more gut wrenchers to come.

Pep says it was just niggles for Stones today and that he should hopefully be fit for Wednesday.
