Tales of Blue caught up with the boyhood City fan and former striker to share his memories of missing out at City as a schoolboy, growing up a blue, pride at signing for the club in 1985, Maine Road goal-scoring debut, Full Members Cup final, his shock at leaving after just one season and more.

Very touching that a true blue got his dream to play for City in the end and interesting that they've had him ferrying academy kids about recently. What a shambles the club was in the eighties but everything you hear suggests there is heart in the club now at least.
