This tournament could really be the making or breaking of him. I really hope he has the mentality to come through the bollocks surrounding him at the moment. He has the talent and pace. He's shown he can do the business and then some in European matches like at Seville. I'm sure Pep can work on him but he has to start being a man and build the mentality to perform consistently even when he is getting shite thrown at him.

Slovakia: 0 goals
Iceland: 1 Penalty

4 games and only 2 goals from open play, one I consider fortunate.

Sterling was shite, again. They all were though to be fair. Incredible result for Iceland and I hope they do a Greece from euro 2004!

As for England, I'm not sure how these players can be so good for their clubs and so bad with and England shirt on. Saw this stat on twitter last night :

England have only won 6 games in knockout football since 1966:

Consistently shit with one blip in 1966.
