From Newcastle, feels like he has been sacked at least three times. Ah well, gone just in time for Leicester game, lets hope the squad will show their appreciation of getting rid of him.
Of course Newcastle would not behave like City have been accused of behaving and already have a replacement manager lined up. Of course not, so Benitez it will be then, at leat until Summer.
The good news is that at least, for now, we do not have to worry about getting managers like McClaren (just not good enough or top class) at City.
The wally with the brolly. Did well with Twente and his fake Dutch accent, but where else? Should have been like Brian Kidd, a decent coach, tried management, did not go well, gone back to what he did best. Not sure what that is for us, looks like mainly joining up the dots drawing type stuff.
Did well at middlesbore to be fair.
Ashley just seems hell bent on getting the most mediocre managers he can find
Gordon Bennett, who would believe it just hours after Newcastle sack McClaren they appoint a new manager: Benitez. Three year deal?

I await the press outrage at unethical conduct and owners.
I'm not sure they're any better off in a relegation battle with Benitez.
It seems McClown makes a very good living from getting fired
clever guy

He only got the chance to do well because robbie fowler missed that penalty that sent boro through to Europe and not us :-(
David James should have took it!!
