Its a question i have seen asked in other forums so i thought why not here.

As i have just posted in another thread i don't watch other  teams just City, i don't have Sky sport or BT and to be honest if i did i doubt i would watch other games, so the question is as the title says  do you watch City or all football?

gavin

I ticked just City because nearly all of the football I watch now is either City or City related. That is watching competitors or ex players or possible new players. I do watch some other games such as el classico but in truth it is nearly all city related stuff these days. I used to watch more.

Chippy_Tea

QuoteI used to watch more.

So did i until Rooney got into the England squad and that fucked it up for me completely.

Swiss

It's mostly always City for me, though I have mates who support otherteams so I'll go watch them too.

Other than City, I've been to see Pompey, WBA, M'boro and I'll watch Spurs and Villa if my mates are down the pub watching them.

Went to Brum for the Villa V Arse cup final last season, that last goal cost me £75 on a bet :(

gavin

Ahhh I never really had interest in England. Always too many rags in there. International football is joke now anyway. I mean FFS it looks like Wales will qualify for a tournament  :D. Only a joke, I actually hope they do. But international football is a joke.

shandon

I also watch games from the championship and some of the EPL games between the big guns.

Victoria

I watch all English soccer and enjoy watching other teams, but I will not watch the Rags for anything. :)

Swiss

What if City are playing the rags at "Soccer"?

Do you use masking tape so you don't see them?

goat

dont encourage it

only bother with city really, watch wales if i have to

everybody calls it soccer here also, irks me a bit, rugby league being football.

Still after 20 odd years Im used to it and I usually say soccer as well now, my local club being Capalaba soccer club

I go down and watch them sometimes and I'll watch the bigger prem games like chavs v Arse etc but mainly its just City these days

bluepill

I'd watch other games, if i could get near the remote. I need to pull rank just to get to watch city instead of cbeebies ffs.

you do watch Sunderland quite a bit though ?

zacc

I don't watch all football, but do watch games of other teams that could effect City though lately that's not been relevant.
I spend winter months in Malaysia and as we have Astro we can watch wall to wall EPL!!
:D

Need another option in between the two. I don't watch all football but will watch other PL games now and then, even watching the rags has been highly enjoyable at times over the last few seasons.

bry the guy

I watch a lot of games but mainly only interested in city games,i even watch the start of rags games for a laugh but if it looks like they will win i turn it off,i know its childish but there you go.

I hate the internationals but will watch city players in them,Silva,Vinny, and now KDB,Kun and the other Argies for eg but not really that interested just hoping they dont get injured.

Lekos

Any football, as much as possible. City take the number 1 priority of course, but I watch lots of other games, Prem, Bundesliga, Serie A, Champs League / Europa. As long as it looks like an interesting game.

Lekos

Except internationals actually. Don't bother with them

Stephen Paul

watch every City game and would watch any other premiership if at a loose end

That's only because the two Queensland AFL teams are struggling at the moment. You fickle lot were all over AFL back in 2001 - 2003 when the Brisbane Lions won three Premierships in a row. You've regressed back to Thugby now...

Anyway - we digress.... the question was City or all football?

As far as watching 'proper' football is concerned - over here in Aus we get plenty of choice should we want it. All the EPL matches are shown live, as well as the occasional Championship or FA Cup game, plus a fair bit of European coverage and a few MLS soccer games from the USA. There's also the local A-League, which might be of a very variable standard but it does cough up an entertaining contest now and then.

I watch predominantly City - but most weeks I might catch at least one other Prem game, especially if there's something in the game that interests me (the result or a particular player). I'll even watch the rags from time to time if I think there's a good chance of them tripping up (which these days is quite often  :D )  Otherwise it's the occasional European match or more recently I might look in on Melbourne City in the A-League.

Don't do a lot of international football - except at World Cups, and even then I pick and choose what I watch.

That's all TV of course. I see so little live football these days I'll grab what ever I can. Over in the UK in April I happily trotted off to watch Cheadle Heath Nomads v Poynton in the Stockport & District Seniors Cup Final. Had a great time.

lee

only city and the team my lad plays for...

im not arsed about matches on the telly..sunday i might watch them if im not busy but nothing compares to watching city..the feeling and buzz from city is the same i have had since i was kid..its the only pleasure in life that stays the same.

I have added one and reset the counter, could everyone vote again, thanks.

If I was a cynic I'd be doubtful this election is entirely democratic.

alexsam

Watch all city games and have most other games on especially on a Sunday but to say I 100% interested in them is pushing it. usually waiting for the key moments

Enjoyed watching utd crumble last week

That is the only time I watch the Rags. If they play any other team and the game is on Tv, I shall not watch them.

nimrod

Hey Ken have you noticed how Aussies 'aren't bothered' about cricket

all of a fucking sudden

:D

Rowley Birkin QC

 :D Yes.

At least women's cricket benefited because suddenly the women's Ashes was all the media here wanted to talk about!
