14.95 to watch footy during the pandemic
fans fucking shafted again https://www.thesun.co.uk/sport/football/12889317/fans-14-95-watch-premier-league-matches/?utm_medium=browser_notifications&utm_source=pushly (https://www.thesun.co.uk/sport/football/12889317/fans-14-95-watch-premier-league-matches/?utm_medium=browser_notifications&utm_source=pushly)
They know loyal fans are easily fleeced. No sign of loyalty from clubs to their fans. £14.95 for having your head done in by fake crowd sounds or non atmospheric football on a tv.
Fuck the fans, fuck the football league, fuck everyone for their bank balance. The greed league goes on.
Burnley v West Brom ppv
Good luck with that one

Sadly Burnley and WBA fans will pay, just like we do to watch City.
Of course, the price is justified they will tell us as we enjoy the wonders of overpaid, over-ego'ed, arrogant, never-can-be-proved-wrong hindsight specialist commentators (Jamie Rednapp, Alan Shearer, etc) telling the managers how they SHOULD HAVE managed the game, and telling the players what they SHOULD HAVE done to prevent the cross, breakaway, goal or defeat. Their knowledge gained from never having managed a team, or having bummed out when they tried to manage a team.
its pathetic
I’ll also add this rip off at a time of recession heading to a full blown depression. Many loyal fans will have lost their employment or suffered big cuts in their wages on furlough and simply can’t afford to pay. Do the PL care, does City who voted in favour care?
was quite shocked City voted for it tbh
Any right minded people would tell Sky to fuck off
It doesn't really bother me at the moment if I was City matches or not because its shite with no fans

About as bad as it gets
The price is far too high.
Is this just for lockdown?
Yes, it is an interim measure. But once they have football at all hours for astronomical prices, can you really see them letting it go.
Its an interesting proposition.
Relatively, those prices are quite low @ £15 per match.
I seem to remember an article a few years ago stating that an average trip to a stadium costs £100.
E.g.
£50 quid a ticket.
£30 travel
£20 food and drink
And thats just 1 person.
Add in a family or a piss up and that £15 makes football more accessible to the poorer families...
Plenty of options to watch for nothing even in HD (So i'm told ) ???.....
I doubt that we'll need to fork out beyond our normal subscriptions that often since most of our games are selected for TV anyway. But, yes, the pricing of everything together makes getting a black market option increasingly enticing.
Terrible lag this evening, not usually this bad. Not many supporters paying !!!.....
