Manchester City’s 2018/19 away kit is looking like it could be a 20th anniversary tribute to the famous 1999 kit, after first details of the colour scheme were revealed by Footy Headlines today.
Described as predominantly dark navy in tone, City’s 2018/19 away shirt is set to feature lime green and sky blue pinstripes on the front in what is called a ‘totally new look for the club’. However, those with long memories may see similarities to the 1999 kit.
The template will be based on Nike’s Vapor template, with a zig-zag pattern along the top of the sleeves and the sides of the shorts.
The shorts and socks are expected to be the same colour as the shirt, completing a fresh, if perhaps nostalgic, away kit look next season.
Here's another pic. I quite like it though I'd prefer black and red stripes.

I like that a lot. The lime green and blue strips look class!
Not keen on that
I never liked that play-off Final kit, the result was the iconic thing about that match, not the kit.
Surely it's not beyond a company like Nike to produce mock ups of 5 or 6 kits and let the fans vote on which one they think is best?
