Up to 5th in the table
A difficult away game at Goodison Park as usual
3-1 City
0. 1. City win
3-1 to Super City. Title back in our own hands. Lets get a run going now.
Big game now after the results yesterday
Team of the year my arse
Fingers crossed for this one. Always a bit of a bogey team and now with a decent squad. Evertons two most gifted players are out, James and Richarlison. Must win? 1-2 to us.

They’re missing 2, but we’Il be lucky if there’s no more Covid cases in Pep’s squad to add to the 2 we already know.
Hope its not Walker, escorts will be dropping like flies.
Match postponed!
More COVID cases in the city squad!!!
Not good news.
Not sure on the rules with COVID. Could we get punished here for not being able to put out a team?
And Chelsea game now also in doubt

A match got postponed a few weeks ago. And was just rearranged I think?
Not surprisingly, seeing a lot of anti-City reaction on-line... we should concede the Everton game, be fined, be relegated (for breaking Covid rules). Rags very keen to get a bye into the League Cup Final.

Prem league have postponed it, not city.
City skyped them, they took medical advice. Cancelled.

Happened to Newcastle too.
I'd be more interested in the conspiracy theories, Pep always wanted a winter break.
And Leyton Orient...
City not yet revealed how many players affected this time on top of the 4 previous, which is slightly worrying.
Everton now jumping on the bandwagon and demanding “full disclosure†on what City told the PL to get the game called off..... I sense an official inquiry being launched.
Do it. The prem agreed and apparently in agreement with the toffees too.
7 cases within a few days suggests an outbreak in the squad.
Its a prudent thing to do to wait a few days.
This doesn't bode city well either. This was a weakened Everton squad and add that were already a game behind, means our fixture schedule is going to be relentless.
3 City players positive in this outbreak, 5 in total. Maybe even more to come? This is serious and it will take at least a month for the team to get back to normal if Newcastle's lesser outbreak is a good guide.
Massive fixture congestion and a depleted squad, likely a torpedo to our chances of winning the PL and Cups this season.
