Bit surprised we're not seeing more of Gundo
The final ball was atrocious from City in that first half. Then, eventually, we find the perfect pass from Foden and Raheem makes the miss of the season. Then we looked a bit better. Hopefully, we can continue the momentum second half.
Better second half from City but not the best. Not the greatest reffing performance again either. 6 minutes injury time given and he blows on the dot after Southampton were time wasting for half of it. Southampton could have had two sent off and were filthy throughout without punishment.
Some elements in the media asking if the title race is back on again within seconds of the final whistle. Twats.
Frustrating game. Hopefully just a kick up the backside.
The media love building up the rhetoric 'the title race is over'. That way they can hail a Liverpool title as the miracle comeback, greatest PL win ever. City win, they will play it down; bought title, so predictable, ruining football and the PL.
Just a bad day at the office, a poor start by us, a remarkable strike by their player and missed chances costing us in a dominant second half. No loss in 13 games, not much to complain about. Now a rest period to reenergise the players for the PL run-in and the CL.
Never a sending off, only barely touched him according to Sky

The referee and VAR (as usual) where incompetent today. Referees seem to be more concerned with maintaining media profiles, rather than making decisions based on merit.
How that foul was not a sending off in any officials head bewilders me.
Hopefully we kick on from here
