XI | Ederson, Stones, Laporte, Ake, Cancelo, Rodrigo, Gundogan (C), Bernardo, Mahrez, De Bruyne, Sterling
SUBS | Steffen, Carson, Jesus, Grealish, Zinchenko, Fernandinho, Foden, Egan-Riley, Mbete
Any overthinking there? No Foden or Grealish. Gundo and Bernard not been great together recently.
Still a good team and happy keeping Foden fresh for the Scousers
Maybe Foden on second half for Sterling
Tight and tough game just as expected. Things not falling for us in the box so far. We're not helping ourselves with some untidy play though. No need to panic. A 0-0 is a reasonable enough score here.
Typical shite reffing. Time wasting throughout and yet barely a few seconds of injury time.
Last thing we should do is go Gung Ho and give a goal away.
Good win against a really tough nut to crack. Niggly, horrible team. I'm baffled how you can give a total of two minutes injury time over both halves when a team time wastes like that.
umph what a frustrating game.Well done City not reacting to the wind ups! ;)
A good, gritty win, against (what someone called on twitter) "the Spanish Burnley" 😁
A very disciplined win against the Spanish Burnley 😉
Did KDB say two banks of 5, walls very difficult to break down. They have a significant upgrade in players over Burnley, Felix was 120 million Euros, Griezmann went for the same.
Bloody good effort to keep them to 0 shots, 0 on target and 0 corners. They might be negative but still have some fine attackers.
Brilliant result and although frustrating to watch I was really impressed with City. The way they retained possession after losing the ball was a lesson to AM. Foden was immense when he came on, simply breathtaking.
The play acting and injury simulation form AM really needs to be dealt with by the authorities. Disgusting team and manager
