Some of the games do seem a bit more interesting than usual but 8 games is just too much for the group stage. Then if you have to play two play off games then that is just ridiculous.
It's just another money making scheme by UEFA. No need to play that many games. UEFA are frightened of the breakaway Super League hence this horrible change.

Absolute farce
Pointless matches in the main and average and lesser teams will just play for draws when away from their home stadiums. Leading to boring football games.
The super league has only gone in name but will be back in another form. FIFA and UEFA now at war over the huge financial pot that football attracts.
Club world championship = Super League eventually.
