Ortega, Rico, Stones, Dias, Ake, Gundo, Mcatee, O'Reilly, Savinho, Nunes, Foden
Another couple of kids on the bench.
Akanji injured himself in the warm up and now Dias will play instead.
That goal in half time was blatantly deserved, even if it should have arrived earlier.
Nunes best player on the pitch. O'Reilly playing really well. As is sub Dias lol.
The first 30 minutes was pretty abysmal and the game was looking almost over. It is not the first time that we have seen Rico left trailing at the back post. But we then took charge and deserved our late goal. Nunes in particular was deserving as he had been by far our best player. I'm not convinced by Gundo at all since he has come back though.
We didn't create much in the second half at all until right at the end. Bringing on an 18 year old centre half instead of Erling for the last twenty minutes says it all. Good experience for the lad though and good luck to him.
A draw would have been a fairer result, but all the young players played well and have got great experience for their future development.
Some less games to play going forward.
It's great to be a blue. Win or lose.
More concerned about Savinho than the result
Gundogan is taking a long time to get into form.
Did anybody see Foden tonight, he is another talking a long time to fire this season, misfiring like my old banger does at time.
We are plagued with injuries this season.
