It is hard not to purr on seeing this starting eleven, despite having had a terrible run. I feel confident today that our recovery will start today. Might be a bumpy ride upwards but we will get better and better.

Glad Doku dropped, love his dribbling but no end product and too often loses the ball.

C'mon City

We're ahead at half time and that makes a nice change. A lovely finish from Savinho too. But we are left hoping and praying rather than having any faith that we won't concede. Haaland needs to score today, he just looks like he needs a kick start to start scoring again. He is getting the chances.

McAtee made the difference. Just the boost we needed but hard work. On to next week, the search for two wins on the trot.

A scruffy win sorely needed and a big boost.

I will take the win, but the reality is this win was not convincing was it?

Always nice to get one over on the father in-laws team.

Liked much more organised and looking like we're interested in competing for the ball.

Have to say though, Gvardiol is letting lots of errors into his game, which is a cause for concern.

Good win, hopefully that's us on a run now

The rags lost again  :D  but unfortunately it means Newcastle are now above us. Chelsea also lost though and Brighton and Villa drew so I'd say a very good day for us. Lets hope Saturday is too. We need to start rebuilding confidence match by match.
