Chelsea H
Arsenal A
Newcastle H
Liverpool H
Spurs A
Huge month coming up
The good form has come against some poor teams. I very much fear for next run of games.
Last night against good opposition we were totally outplayed for the whole game. We've really regressed so much.
It's 23rd Jan and still no midfield reinforcements signed. Just some promising young kids who will probably not play much this season Baffling.
Chelsea Win
Arsenal loss
Newcastle H ?
Liverpool H ?
Spurs A ?
If we win two out of three that would be good and put us in a decent position for a good run in.
We need some defenders back from injury. Sounds like Diaz and Ake are both back in training and Ederson too.
If we can get those three back and playing for a couple of months without injury we've got a good chance against any team.
That's a big "If" though given their injury history.
Can the dippers win the quad with City in this form ?

It'll probably be their best chance given our form.
Was really hoping Spurs would go through last night. And that isn't easy for me given 1981.
Not that I hold grudges.

The 2021 League Cup Final somewhat mollified the pain of that for me. It was a 1-0 thrashing. I still feel the odd twinge when I see Ricky Villa replayed but it is not the same as before all of our success and 2021.
And yes, I was also hoping that Spurs would win last night. My list of hate changes in order after events. Spurs are now well down below Liverpool and Arsenal in it whereas they used to be second behind the rags. Even the rags have briefly slipped from top position on a couple of occasions.
At the moment it is probably Rags, Arsenal, Liverpool, Real Madrid, Spurs in that order.
