I'm buzzing to see Marmoush in the starting eleven, plus Khusanov as well. We need fresh blood and legs and a bit of physicality at the back when we don't have Dias.

I'm excited now to see them play.

C'mon City

As ever these days, it was a very mixed first half. Overall we were the better side but we could easily have been two down. We should go on to win this but it wouldn't be a surprise if we gifted them more goals. Marmoush looks lively but the poor defender had one of the worst first 5 minutes for a club in football history.

I could have cried for the young man.

But he gradually got into the game and since has played well. True bravery.

I wouldn't take him off, but I suspect the yellow card will mean he will come off at half time.

He is full of promise.

Nightmare first 5 mins of a debut but he showed good character to come back. Thought Akanji could have saved him for the goal too but bottled it.

Overall i think we'll deserve to be level at half time. Hopefully we can go on to win it in the 2nd half.

What a better performance. More like City the champions. Enjoyed watching that comeback from a disastrous start. Credit to the team for that.

Up to 4th now and if we can keep our performances up to that level we will qualify for the CL.

A not why as expected but overall good.

Young man keep your head up, despite your shaky start you showed us what you are capable of, and we liked it.

Christian Negouai was worse.

Good game, good win.

Lots of positives like marmoush.

A great win and no calamities second half. Wonderful goals from Erling and Phil. Erling had a very good game. The young centre half steadied thankfully. But the class of Stones made a big difference.

I thought Haaland was unlucky not to have had 3 assists.

My motm was Silva. Thought he was everywhere today.

We broke another premier league record today.

From the BBC "It was the earliest yellow card for a player on their Premier League debut since Lee Peltier for Cardiff against Bournemouth in 2018."

Absolutely was motm with Haaland, Ederson and Gvardiol close behind.

Silva showed leadership by stepping in and providing back up and time (helping out and protecting) for Khusanov to recover from his horror start. Only Gundogan of the other players did I see console and reassure the poor young player after his lapses. For that alone Silva deserved MOTM.
