Not the team I thought he'd go with for sure!

Well Madrid started well and were playing some great stuff. But City took the lead and then edged the first half. I'd settle for any victory. Shame that Jack had to go off as he was looking good.

Very shaky start but great recovery.

C'mon City

Fucking amateurs. Whole scale changes to this squad needed. They are gone and need moving on.

Kovacic is a fucking liability.

Rico should have been braver with that ball though.

And Ederson... made some decent saves tonight then fucked us in the butt

There is one thing being beat. But then to work like fuck for 85 minutes to win a game and then throw it away is another.

Tbh even if we'd have gone through 1 goal up to the next leg, we'd still have gone out.

We just aren't good enough and shoot our selves in the foot every single bloody game. It's soul destroying.

Rico is just not up to that standard of football.

Yet again we threw away a win and gifted it to the opposition. This time with an experienced team.

Ederson dreadful, Kovacic totally stupid and Lewis 'the weak link'.

Shame we have to go to away and be humiliated yet again.

Roll on next season.

'Soul destroying' is indeed the best way to describe it.

We are exceptionally good at throwing away games late on

Good to be great at something.

Rico actually put in some decent tackles against the supposed player of the year, if he'd gone with his head instead of foot, we'd be talking about him in a different light. Kovacic was the main culprit in that move, should have hooked it out for a throw in, not a dodgy balloon pass.

Eddy played well until that stupid kick.

It's lots and lots of individual errors creeping in.

I just felt like the stamina levels and tiredness crept in, and with gundog and Kovacic coming in to sure up the midfield... lacked energy.

We can' cope with more than 1 or 2 aging stars.

I would like to mention Savinho, thought he played like he was fighting for the club.

Thought Haaland looked far more up for it last night as well, seemed to get more involved in the build up and defending.

Gvardiol had a good game for the most part. Eddie has made too many fuck ups this season.
