Donnarumma, Khusanov, Dias, Guéhi, O'Reilly, Rodrigo, Bernardo (C), Savinho, Semenyo, Doku, Haaland
Subs: Trafford, Bettinelli, Reijnders, Stones, Ake, Marmoush, Cherki, Nico, Ait-Nouri, Nunes, Foden, Alleyne
Come on you blues
What a bench!
Shame Cherki didn't start, imho when he played the team hits their rhythm far better and much earlier.
In form starting 11 for sure.
C'mon City
Khusanov to subdue Vinicius easily and show him up for the twot he is.
Decent line up that
2 soft goals gifted to RM. Why is Nico playing in defence again when he's been brilliant in midfield. You get what you deserve and we are getting it tonight for Peps changes.

Have to agree. Pep loves to find demons that aren't there.
O'Reilly and Donnarumma have had stinkers at the back. Everything has gone for them in that half. We did get the ball across the front of their goal quite a few times but our striker was nowhere to be seen and the ball went through the legs of Bernard and Semenyo.
We need a goal and if we get two without any reply from them then we are right back in it. No need to go mad, just get back in the tie.
When I see Savinho starting it's a big worry.
Poor team selection again from Pep in a big game. Big games really are his Achilles heel.
Why drop Nunes? why play Nico at LB? why start Savinho?
Poor team selection for sure, but hindsight is wonderful.
Disappointing, but the fact is we were second best tonight by a country mile. It's football.
A bit harsh to say that big games are the Achilles heel of one of the most successful managers ever. He has won more big games than he has lost I am sure. Nevertheless, that was one of the worst performances from one of his teams that I have ever seen.
If anything, I was even more disappointed with the second half than the first. I was expecting us to make a decent effort at getting back into the game but we did next to nothing. Our best chance was a tackle on their defender by O'Reilly. Other than that I struggle to think of anything else.
Pep made mistakes sure but not many, if any, of the players come out of that with any credit either. I would say that individually and collectively, that was a complete and utter failure in every respect.
Sometimes I do question the sanity of our beloved leader ;)
I think it was the right call to put Khusanov as RB to counter Vini, and I don't think he played badly at all.
I think the 1st goal, Nico and Donnarummer fucked up. Dias could have busted a gut earlier too.
The 2nd. Got a lucky deflection, but no one tracked Valverde from midfield.
The third, again, no one tracked the run of valverde. But I think it was also a quality but of skill from him.
I think no one tracked valverde because we went far too attacking.
Doku, savinho, seymenyo and Haaland... no. Too weak in tracking back.
Oh well
