Yeh, there's about five that I haven't heard of. I used to watch all of the friendlies too but no more.
First game v Inter, 12.30 our time Saturday. In Hong Kong I think.
On City+ but not sure that I will watch. Friendlies have always been meaningless but now there isn't even the slightest indication of the first team plans in them.
McAidoo stood out, not unexpectedly, in our friendly today against Inter Milan. Great prospect for the future.
Savinho was good and so was Semenyo.
No injuries and a good workout in a 1. 1 draw over 90 minutes. Lovely flowing football.
I didn't watch but it is good to know that there was some decent football at least. Also that we have another winger on the way.
Second half was far better than our first half. Savinho was good, but still lacks the final action.
McAidoo fantastic but in a 'friendly' so might not be overly significant. In a team competitive fave he will have less space and face more aggression and physicality from defenders. Still full of promise and all his actions were forward pushing.
Second half Nico G came on and that made a big difference
City beat K league all stars 3-1. Semenyo and Reindeer looked good.
Looked quite a strong side in the first half. Things are coming together a bit. But what with the heat and playing a league side still very much an exhibition.
A pre-season friendly but a very good and impressive performance from City.
Semenyo a level above all other players on the pitch in all 3 pre-season games.
Certainly plenty to look forward to for the coming season.
I will start watching in earnest next Sunday. But it seems like it was a good win. It is good to hear that the wingers are being fast and direct.
