The future of football? (https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/articles/c8xng9894z0o)
When Trump can get a red card suspension overturned, the competition becomes worthless to me. It has been a sorry summer for football.
The overt corruption is in plain sight. Infantino makes Blatter look like a saint.

All 55 UEFA countries have voted to support a World Cup boycott in protest at Fifa deal, a well placed source has told BBC Sport.

The world cup without European teams will not be a world cup. Now get South American countries on board EUFA.

They have already fooked up the World Cup anyway. I barely watched much of it at all. International football in its entirety should be abandoned.
Concacaf and the Asian federation have told Infantino no too. Looks like he, Trump and partners etc are dead in the water. Hopefully.
Just in...
Infantino's senior advisor Carlos Cordeiro quits over World Cup plan.

Another one gone.
FIFA's chief operating officer Kevin Lamour who has also resigned.
I'll be glad when we can get back to football but I do wonder how much more commercialised football could be than the World Cup just gone.
If the "Americanisation" of football continues and becomes like the NFL etc where a 60min game takes 4 hours I might have to fuck off early, unless they fired free hot dogs and T-shirts into the crowd.
FIFA have lost. This might be one of the shortest threads ever on citymancs :D
Infantino earning 50M a year of Fifa
Corruption at its highest level
He's a middle-aged man with a bald head and wore a blue suit at the final - with WHITE TRAINERS FFS. Says it all
And I thought that my opinion of him couldn't get any lower.
Can't stand the twot
Don't get stressed out he will bring the African and Asian committees and their members and be voted back in to give it another go.
FIFA is just driven by money and screwing the fans for every penny.
Blatter, Infantino, & whoever follows them.
Trump has backed Infantino so that should be the kiss of death for him.

EUFA are preparing a criminal case against Infantino.
