Title: The most baffling films
Post by: nimrod on June 01, 2016, 22:55:18
Ive just watched my all time most baffling   :o

Knight Of Cups (2015)

A writer indulging in all that Los Angeles and Las Vegas has to offer undertakes a search for love and self via a series of adventures with six different women.

starring;
Christian Bale
Natalie Portman
Cate Blanchett

Im quite a fan of director Terence Mallick but this was 'arty' in the extreme and went over my head, I mean I had an open mind ans was expecting things to be a bit avant-garde but its just a pastiche of images and thoughts.

Takashi Miike is a fucking animal! Some of the weirdest films ever created!

Have you seen Ichi the killer?

My nod goes to an animation called Dead Leaves: Trippy film

Also, my WTF was the point of that award goes to Salo: 100 days of Sodom. I'm still trying to work out what the point in this film was.
Fun fact, The director was killed by being run over by his own car! Lots of conspiracies that it was related to this film.

there are a lot worse films than that from japan, ask charlie sheen  :D

film personality Chris Gore met actor Charlie Sheen and gave him a copy. Sheen then watched Flowers of Flesh and Blood and, mistaking it for a genuine snuff film, contacted the FBI to report it

not seen that but amy has a few guinea pig films on dvd
