Oh Ho, well Sir Rowley and Gavin seems Pelle agrees with me Hart fucked up on that first Burnley goal (offside or not) and has dropped him as a warning shot to shape up.

Sorry but Pelle is the final judgement on this matter, and has decided I was right (as always). lol

No Kompany, very worrying.

Surprise, surprise Sunderland sitting back with a packed defence and we break slowly and play pass the ball around in front of their massed ranks.

Jovetic couldn't score in a brothel if tenners were falling out of his arse.

A shade harsh perhaps, Ludo.

A two goal advantage flushed down the toilet, absolutely woeful lads. Shame on you.

Lampard the Saviour, can we actually save face and not concede.

Pelle needs to address this tendency to collapse in games we have effectively won.

Our midfield have switched off and are not protecting the defence.

Will someone teach Milner to keep the ball low when he shoots.

the truth of the matter is championship winning teams do not let a two goal lead slip, more so two consecutive home games. there can be no excuses, we used a striker and yet most of the chances that were missed were by midfield players, the upshot is City should have buried Sunderland but did not. City have not played well all season; I can't see City retaining the championship this season; Pelli needs to sort out the concentration of the team and defense.

All teams even champions concede, however, we definitely have a problem around switching off and not killing of games. Should have ripped Sunderland apart when they abandoned the brick wall at back approach, instead we could have lost the game.

What an epic 15 minutes!

If Sunderland actually attacked they might win a few more matches!!!

From the replays it was never a penalty and I would question the award of the Free kick for the other considering Nasri had just been fouled previously!

Still, atleast only City players scored!

Lampard could have had a hatrick and Milner could have had two in the end.

It was nice to see Yaya get one on target that flew in like a rocket.

Great win in the end but we need to sort out our defending. When Sunderland actually bothered to try to attack they found it all too easy again. Nevertheless the key is scoring more than the opposition and we did that and really we could have run up 6 or 7 in the end. Slimline Frank could have had a hat trick in ten minutes.

Milner should of had one in 5 mins.

Play off at a neutral venue, could be Wembley I suppose. But we'll win it outright.

You haven't the foggiest idea why Hart was dropped for this game  :D

Well, we certainly switched off after the second goal, and pretty soon Sunderland were finding a bit too much space to exploit in the middle of our half. We were a little unfortunate with the pen, but yet again another demonstration of why no team should ever wind down the intensity with anything less than a three goal cushion.

Still, we weathered another match without a striker and took all three points. Aside from concerns about our continuing lapses of concentration and a worrying tendency to approach a lot of these games with some sort of 'Do just enough to win it' mentality - I too remain broadly positive. I've always felt we have a better squad than Chelsea and we would ultimately chase them down. Definitely 'game on' now!

Trust me, Pelle said it was rotation on interview but I know the truth. JH threw one into his own net WBA (figuratively speaking) and then screwed up on Burnley's first. Time for rotation thought Pelle and rightly so.

Some day soon you will see the light.

Is Jovetic impersonating a striker then?  8)

He is to my eyes - but then I'm a bit old fashioned about these things.

The way the opposition pack the edge of the box and all our boys are darting around in and out I don't think having a striker makes all that much difference.

I think if we draw 2-2 or better at their place and its all square at the end we win it on head to head.Long way to go yet though.

No head to head in the PL rules, it would be a play-off.
