In my view the ref was culpable of several mistakes: the foul on Sterling and also on Ageuro
Rags do worse every week and get away with it.
Rags fine £40k just last week. It's a joke ref and officials put in an incompetent display and players blamed for complying at their obvious mistakes.

If refs are proved guilt of blatant errors then they should be fined or demoted

Not often enough though and never for being shit at reffing a City game as far as I'm aware. To be fair I had thought Michael Oliver was showing promise of being a good one until last weekend. Hopefully he's just in bad form like KDB.
